Nico is the Founder and CEO of Noesis and has been instrumental in shaping the firm’s strategic vision since its founding in 1995. With more than 40 years of experience in the investment industry, he was among the early pioneers of the RIA model, championing a fiduciary, transparent, and independent approach to wealth management for families worldwide.
He began his career in 1972 on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, the oldest stock exchange in the world, managing equity and fixed-income portfolios for a family office. He later joined E.F. Hutton in Amsterdam, where the three-person team became the firm’s second most profitable office. After earning multiple U.S. licenses, Nico established his own brokerage firm in Florida in 1984 and brought the first foreign small-cap company public on the NASDAQ. A decade later, he earned the CFP® designation, sold the retail side of his business, and founded Noesis.
Today, Nico continues to serve as both Portfolio and Relationship Manager, carrying forward the firm’s commitment to independent, client-first wealth management.
